Run to Aldinga Hotel - Mar 25

Run to the Aldinga Hotel Wednesday 26th March 2025

We had a very enjoyable run to the Aldinga Hotel today. After we arrived at the hotel having negotiated all the South Road roadworks it was a pleasure to find that the staff had set up a long table for our group in a quiet corner adjacent to the bar. A total of 22 members and friends had set off for the  run via Macclesfield, Meadows, and Willunga  and we arrived somewhat earlier than the appointed time of 12.30pm.

Fortunately the dining room staff were more than happy to receive us and given that our group was 22 people the staff coped very well. Our table was all set ready for us and we got a  surprise; the chef at the Aldinga Hotel offered us a three course meal of entre, main and sweets ( for Seniors ) for $25.00 which was certainly a bonus  and everyone was more than pleased with the meals served in front of them!

The general consensus from the SACC members before we left was that our choice of venue was an enjoyable one to revisit sometime in the future.
